As a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) from the College of Financial Planning, the cornerstone of my practice is the WealthVision® retirement planning process. Investing without a plan is like a ship without a rudder. My desire is for all of my clients to go through the process of developing, implementing, and reviewing their retirement plan. With a WealthVision® retirement plan in place, my primary focus is tactically and actively managing client portfolios.

I began my financial advisory career in 2004 as an Investment Advisor Representative with Edward Jones where I managed a practice in North Tacoma. In mid-2004, I transitioned my practice to Smith Barney where I joined John Grant to help create The Grant-Hoffman Team. In July of 2010, John and I, along with other colleagues, formed an independent practice, Main Street Wealth Advisors. I currently hold a Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, and a Series 65 through LPL Financial, as well as a Life and Variable Annuity license, and a Long-Term Care Insurance license.

I am a current Board member for eliseo and the current Board Chair for FuturaAge. I was the former Board Chair and a volunteer for the Puyallup Food Bank, and the former Board President and a Youth & High School Boys Coach for the Rogers Lacrosse Club.

I live on the River’s Edge Lavender Farm in Puyallup, Washington with my wife, Nicole, German Shepherd, Luna, and black cat, Gara. Our daughter, Jada, is a Master Esthetician at Jada Nicole Esthetics in Sumner, Washington, and our son, Jacob, is actively serving our country in the U.S. Navy currently based in Norfolk, Virginia. We enjoy lavender farming, boating, water skiing, camping, gold mining, traveling, playing sports, relaxing on the beach, our tiny off-the-grid cabin, and spending time with family and friends.

CRPC conferred by College for Financial Planning.
